Re: The Aesthetically Pleasing Attack
Nice ones! I managed to compile OpenTal 1.1 this morning thanks to a post in this forum. Would be Nice to have FENs and test other engines on those positions. Version 1.1 is a little less aggressive from what I've found. Pawel made some changes to the search and somehow this resulted in some typica...

Re: The Aesthetically Pleasing Attack
Nice. I don't think Francesca had a clue that was happening. Maybe some more eval work needed, then. What's OpenTal by the way? OpenTal is an open source UCI chess engine that emulates weird and wonderful chess of "the wizard of Riga" - Mikhail Tal. It is based on Rodent, and probably plays at 2500...

Re: Banksia GUI released
Hello, Feature Request: Would like to see the ability to change the font color of the digits displayed on the 'Score Graph'. Thanks, and I hope you are doing well. Yep. I've often wished I could change font colors of the various areas including engine info and even coordinates. I use Banksia 99% of...

Re: Where is Father famous anti computer chess player
Anyone paying attention knows that the guy got tired of this place. He'd post some flowery title like... "GRANDFATHER AGAINST 64 CORE MONSTER OF DOOM DEFENDS HUMANKIND!" ...then embed a stonewall setup where he shuffled for 300 moves and flagged someone on PlayChess... ...to the instant flaming of t...

Re: 14th ACCA World Computer Rapid Chess Championships
I guess it was a misunderstanding. Both should calm down and continue as normal without withdrawing event, IMO. It was meant as a joke but I do completely understand why Chris goes up like a rocket. I also think it seems to be a misunderstanding, although I too am not a fan of the "established" CC ...

Re: Dragon by Komodo Chess
Another point in addition to this is that black having a more open game (Scandi is very good for this) allows him to trade pieces more readily, bringing the knight up ending closer and closer. Couldn't white avoid all that by pushing his pawn to e5 on move 2, yielding a French Defence/Advanced Caro...

Re: Dragon by Komodo Chess
I would like to see penguin against Komodo at Bullet. It would be great ! What would you think would be a fair match? Knight odds at 1' + 1" perhaps? I think it would be nice. I think So already player at Knight handicap against Stockfish some years ago at 1 min and lost badly : https://www.youtube...

I can arrange a match Jorge Samour versus Komodo Dragon by paying him $45.00 if he wins and $15.00 if he draw. All that I need is your latest version...

Re: ProDeo (A Crazy Idea)
I've been playing around with some of the old Dos Rebels on my Tablet using Magic Dosbox and started wondering how difficult would it be to backport Prodeo (Maybe even Benjamin) to the old dos Rebel GUI? I know it is a crazy idea, but it would allow users a way to use them under Android via DosEMU....
