Re: ChessTricks

Hi
This concept sounds interesting, I think it would also be interesting to play against this tweaked stockfish engine, would it be possible to release your version of stockfish 9 ,so I could play against it or is it not as simple as that?

Thanks

Re: ShashChess

Hi I have a very old 32 bit computer (2008!) and I find the 32 bit compilation just doesn't install on a fritz (chessbase) or a shredder gui. The shredder gui states it is not a uci engine and the fritz 14 gui asks for the identity of the engine author and doesn't seem to accept any manual author in...

Re: McBrain 2017 2.4 - an early release!

Hi Thanks for this new McBrain, I am always interested to play against these engines and to test the limit ratings interpretations. For me style and 'Human like play' is important as apparently this isnt always easy to implement when an engine is hadicapped in some way. Your stockfish derivatives se...

Re: McBrain v2.0 Release

Hi Thanks for this. The UCI parameters tactics and respect, I guess tactics will increase tactical play, evaluation? but what specificially does the respect paremeter change, is this contempt, reverse contempt? If I can digress, I have noticed over the years that GUi s in general sometimes dont show ...

Re: Cfish 8 121516 for the macOS

Hi guys What is needed is a handicapping system that plays like a human, I gather this is difficult, we have open source stockfish which is superb and produces a super strong engine, but it would be good if we had some sort of open source program to produce a human type engine, with human styles and...

Re: Bleeding Edge Stockfish with a twist...

Thank you for this Michael. Could someone compile a windows version please? I sometimes feel like Oliver Twist when he says 'could I have some more please sir?' Anyway I appreciate your efforts to include different types of handicap methods. I feel that programmers and developers could put more effo...
