Re: Monolith 1.0

Thanks all for the helpful replies, there was indeed a typo in the Syzygy probing code, it's fixed now and source and binaries are updated ( https://github.com/cimarronOST/Monolith/releases ). The bug affects also 5-men Syzygy access even though it only crashes with 6-men, so please use the fixed ve...

Re: Monolith 1.0

PS. Test gauntlet in progress... EDIT: That PS was a lie. None of my GUI's (Arena, F15, Sh13) could make Monolith move. I get warnings that tablebase/pawn limit is too low. No luck even with the default parameters. As soon as book has been left, it stops moving. I am in the process of trying to det...

Re: New releases (not mentioned yet)

It seems Monolith currently ignores moves from an external GUI book? The game below was started with a Polyglot GUI book under WB. It seems it tried to start from the normal start position ignoring the book moves supplied before. Guenther WB debug: New game (0): Abrok 5.0-Monolith_02-64 ...

Re: New releases (not mentioned yet)

I can confirm that it works OK with a Polyglot own book, but doesn't like GUI books. I have to admit that I haven't done extensive GUI tests yet, so far I never had a problem with Arena or Cutechess, but I'll investigate further, thanks for the hint.
