Leela wins Div4 with a round to spare.

Second place a fight between wasp and the AS clone of leela (with different weights file).
Given the drama surrounding Deus X, will Wasp advance to D3 in its place?

I doubt, that DeusX will be allowed to play in Div 3.

Interesting. While Albert's video did set off my BS detector, I thought his approach to developing weights made quite a bit of sense.

Don't go popcnt-ing your chickens just yet! The top three are enjoying a nice slugfest, and there are 'enough' games yet to play...
Kudos to Wasp for keeping the NN programs more than honest.

Re: Online chess engines on powerul machines - what are the options?

OK, so I need to do some analysis on powerful computer. I do not own one, but I feel ready to pay for renting it. So far I have found two options: 1) Rybka cluster - the price is ridiculous and the engine is obsolete so that's not an option. 2) nextchessmove.com - 20 CPU is fine but they offer max ...

Re: Leela Zero, where to follow progress?

I was into Lc0 a couple of weeks ago, but I lost track of its progress soon after it. Seems like they are starting from scratch again, but I am not sure though. Hard to catch up nowadays if you do not follow them on discord regularly Yup. It's very difficult for a casual user to know WTF is going o...

And AMD is sampling a 7nm card.
But that won’t be CUDA will it?
Does Leela not use OpenCL? Or is CUDA just more efficient for this sort of computing?

Re: Komodo 12 and MCTS

Pointless having MCTS option when its unable to use the power of the GPU or of Tensor Processing Units. Sorry, but the simple truth is that this is just a Sales Gimmick by the Komodo team trying to take advantage of the current interest in MCTS and Neural Networks. Christ, dude, we heard you the fi...
