Re: The decline of chess in the UK

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03b5ft6 The site claims that England does not rank in the top 30. Rubbish. It is in 12th place on the FIDE country rankings. https://ratings.fide.com/topfed.phtml Those rankings are the average of the top 10 players. England does even better if you consider only the...

Re: [OT] CTF elections

If you ever felt like going to CTF but found the place repulsive, your best chances are with: Thorsten Czub, Daniel Shawul, Henk Van Den Belt (alt - Aleks Peshkov) This I say because the current moderation (our opponents) have been there so you get what you used to get. If you want change, vote for...

Re: Another change of heart

All these +10 and +1 posts are pointless - just as it would be for others to respond with -10 or -1. The way to count numbers is not for dozens of posts with +1 or -1 but a poll. Better still would be to post nothing unless one actually has something to say other than a mere "agreed" or its wordy v...

[MODERATION] Ed, we would prefer such topics regarding the Rybka/Fruit case (or any other discussion regarding the originality or not of any engine) to be created directly in the Engines Origin forum, where they belong. So, please, next time consider it before posting in this forum, where it annoys...
