Re: delete informant symbols for one color in pgn

Yes I have pgn-exract. I don't think it has an option to only delete comments for white (or black) moves. I know there is a option to delete all comments but that's not what I look for.

delete informant symbols for one color in pgn

Hi Does someone know how it's possible to delete informant symbols in a big pgn file, only for one color, (white, or black moves). I want to use it to filter out main lines from pgn files created with obk2pgn "PGN Output Each variation in the original OBK file is output as a separate game in the PGN...

Re: Polyglot extension tool

Hi Ed That's not the case. My source book is called white_3.bin If I choose the option 'B' to calculate new weights everything works fine. And the moves are correctly displayed in SCID. It's only when I use the option 'V' that I got these strange characters. I will send you the bin books to your gma...

Re: Polyglot extension tool

Hi Ed I tried the new version of poly 1.2 If I chose for the option 'V' to calculate new weights. And I openen the new created book in SCID. I can't see the weight of the moves. But just strange characters. I have included a screenshot in the attachment. If I try to import this new bin book to openi...

Re: Polyglot extension tool

There is a tool that can convert bin books to pgn called Cerebellum book CONVERTOR http://www.chessgod101.com/t3840-cerebellum-book-convertor Of course I don't know if it's done correctly. I can also import best lines from a bin book (for one color), or al best lines (for one color), to opening line...

Re: Polyglot extension tool

Hi Ed I understand your confusion. I try to explain why I want multiple best lines. (I want to be able to choose for one best move, two best move or tree best moves) I want multiple best moves with the same score, because if I import al best moves (for one color) from a bin book, in Lucas Chess, and...

Re: Polyglot extension tool

Hi Ed Poly 1.1 is very useful for me for creating my chess repertoire for over the board games. I use it in conjunction with the functions of Lucas Chess to import only best line or best lines from a bin book to a openings guide. I use the big database that comes with powerbook 2019 from chessbase t...

Re: Polyglot extension tool

I find it myself.

It can be done by copying to a new pgn database in ChessX

I wanted to use the website for annotating my repertoire. But it's not very useful I think.

Re: Polyglot extension tool

Hi

Does someone know how it's possible to change the notation in a pgn database.

So the notation is like

1. d4 d5 2. Nf3 Nf6 3. Bf4

instead of

1.d4 d5 2.Nf3 Nf6 3.Bf4

To be able to copie and past the moves here

Re: Polyglot extension tool

Hi thanks ED, that helps a lot. I don't know how many positions there are in the bin book, how can I know this? If I export the bin book to pgn with Lucas Chess I get 5000 different opening lines. (5000 games). How can I split the epd file in 5 parts? Is there some software to do that? Or do I have ...
