I don't think so. It is of great public interest, therefore its inclusion is justified, IMO.

Re: Fat Fritz 2
WIthout proper info on actual network versions used it all becomes a trust, mumbo-jumo issue.. Even for Pohls rating-list. In a very short match (20 games) with 30s+0.2s I obtained this result: Score of Fat_Fritz_2-x64 (commercial) vs Fat_Fritz_2-x64 (github net): 6 - 0 - 14 [0.650] Elo difference:...

It is very likely that I will start a tournament with it in the coming days.

Re: NN in Scorpio 3.0.11 is not loaded
I set mt=1 in the ini file but Scorpio still uses 2 cores of my 4-core engine. What shall I do? Hi Gabor, What mode are you running ? It should obey mt parameter for NNUE/HCE but the meaning of the mt parameter is different for NNs. Please don't change the mt parameter in that case. If you have a G...

Re: How much work is it to train an NNUE?
I'd prefer the opinion of NNUE experts. How much human work and how much CPU work is involved? It is irrelevant how many threads you use, if less then you will have to wait longer for the computer to finish but the human input does not change, IMO.

How much work is it to train an NNUE?
To develop a chess engine usually takes several monts, years or even a lifetime. But how much work is it to take an existing engine and replace its NNUE with a different one? In my naive view, to make an NNUE you collect a huge amount of games, determine which features of positions you want to analy...
