Re: 'Deus X' Unveiled as FAT FRITZ PROJECT...

I have read it carefully. It says that DeusX initially was based on Leela, that is true. But it also states: "But that was not the main objective of the development — to make a program to compete against other chess engines. What we were aiming for was a new analytical tool that chess players could ...

Re: 'Deus X' Unveiled as FAT FRITZ PROJECT...

Actually I think it has not much sense to discuss with you or Silver, you showed already the same behaviour after you were criticized after DeusX for not acknowleding the effort of LC0. Why should I have to acknowledge anything about DeusX or lc0? DeusX has nothing to do with me, other than that i’...

Re: 'Deus X' Unveiled as FAT FRITZ PROJECT...

Just a bunch of mean girls hating on a net trainer. Wtf? Just pointing out that this engine he created *might* just be Leela with a custom (probably very strong ) net. In that case he could've just said that instead of horsing around. If in fact he programmed his own search algo while also implemen...

Re: 'Deus X' Unveiled as FAT FRITZ PROJECT...

Sadly they don't talk about what the engine actually is and does. Maybe it is just Leela or a slightly modified Leela? If so then A. Silver is just doing what he did when entering DeusX in TCEC. And if it is an original engine why don't they talk about it? For me it sounds like "we trained a super s...

Re: What's up with this endgame?

At depth 100/187 SF dev finally shows +2.96 with analysis contempt on (c=24 so real eval is probably around +3.2 is my guess). So this might just be mate in N from this position.

Allie 0.5 is not officially released yet. You can get the 0.5 dev version in the Allie discord server though or use this link https://drive.google.com/open?id=1KTv7c ... NpkfhIDFZC.
