Re: Chess Fighter 2.0 release

Works fine under Windows 10 with a 980 TI in cutechess with 4.5 up to 5.5kn/s but not under Arena. Arena's debug endlessly shows ". \n . \n . \n" (\n is a new line).

Re: Stockfish scaling is now impressive?

It might be that elo gainers on one thread could add more on multiple threads. When SFdev was only +16 compared to sf10 on 1 thread the multicore test showed +23 give or take iirc.

Re: SSD Problem

I don't know what causes this problem but what I do know is that you should never ever run a defrag on a SSD.

Re: Zentropy GUI

Thank you very much for this GUI - I think it is marvelous. Simple and clean. After using it for some matches now I have a list of recommendations. ( NOTE : I understand that programming GUIs is a heck of a lot of work. Please don't feel pressured in any way :D ) Tournament management: I like how ar...

Re: EVGA GeForce GTX 950 2 GB

The 950 is ceratinly good enough for basic analysis - 1 node Leela is around 2200 -2300 "human elo" and you'll get at least 1kn/s (just a guess). The double xeons with sf will be stronger though; but if you want to use Leela it certainly helps to get it running. In case you want to upgrade the 2060 ...

As usual other builds are welcome.

For new major releases (8.0, 9.0 etc) I'd suggest opening a new thread. This thread is rather full already.

Re: SCID 4.7

I fiddled with the resize problem I have. I couldn't solve it. Though I noticed it is only significant when it displays a list of games - even if it is just one.

Re: SCID 4.7

Strange :?

I tried many things, like a fixed chess board size etc. Nothing helped. When I tried there were no background processes. I do have an i7 5930k on 4.1 GHz so I don't think it is that.

Thank you anyway :)

Re: SCID 4.7

Hey, I really like this new version!

Sadly, whenever I resize the window it lags behind by some seconds (using Win10).
Do you know how I could fix this?
