Re: Stockfish misevaluations:

Latest dev version of SF thinks it's winning.
+5.7 at depth 53/60
Still +5.38 at 62/73
Still +5.38 at 70.

I'll let it run for a few hours, maybe it will reach 127...

Re: The problem with adjudication based on score

While I agree with you these situations are very rare and works both ways.
Adjudication massively speeds up the process of testing, and if only 1% of the games produce wrong results it's still worth to adjudicate.

Speed vs accuracy.

Re: 32930 Boost network available

Would it be possible to distill the latest network to 16x2?

I assume you need an Nvidia GPU for it. (Which I don't have)

Re: New 11258 distilled networks released.

Does anyone know how fast the 48x5 is with an RTX 2080ti or similar? Also wth happened? MM50 (Mephisto) port vs Lc0. Both on a i5-4460 single thread TC was 30+0.3 or 20+0.2 (I forgot) [Event "?"] [Date "2019.04.12"] [Round "?"] [White "MM50-UCI"] [Black "lc0"] [Result "1/2-1/2"] [WhiteElo "?"] [Blac...

Re: What engine breaks even with GMs in blitz?

In blitz (let's say 3' + 2" or as close to this as possible), the top engines today are far beyond human level. But how far down the list do we have to go to find engines (and specified hardware) that score evenly against GMs, preferably ones with known identities and ratings? I'm sure there is ple...

Re: The Last Survivor of AB engine, Stockfish! What position will Stockfish stand?

It is even worst then this. This is such a lopsided tournament in favor of the NN engines. I looked up the benchmark for the $6000 Intel Xeon Platinum 8168. And what a piece of dog crap for 6 grand. And they bought 2 pieces of dog crap. Below is my benchmark for my $800 2950x. For a extra $5000 you...

Re: The Last Survivor of AB engine, Stockfish! What position will Stockfish stand?

It's easy to test really. From a random position SF10 reached depth 25 in 45 million nodes on 1 core. On 4 cores it reached depth 25 in 76.7 million nodes. While nps increased close to 4 fold (3.8 times as many). TTD only quicked 2.5 times. From 37 seconds to 15. A node is not a node when comparing ...
