Re: Can the sardine! NNUE clobbers SF.

I am probably going to need some help submitting NNUE as patch on test.stockfishchess. Or maybe somebody else wants to do it. Main difficulty for me is getting nn.bin from the github repo to the right place so I can just issue a standard UCI command for the test. https://github.com/gekkehenker/Stock...

Re: Lizard-NNUE Experiment NOT bad with NNUE Net Evaluation.........

Many AB engines use Texel tuning with data scored by Stockfish at depth=8. Remember the popular quiet.epd and the 3 million fast SF games generated by Alvaro for the purpose of eval tuning ? I do not consider this to be a clone nor lizard-nnue that mimics Komodo at depth=8. Calling it a clone would...

Re: Can the sardine! NNUE clobbers SF.

Binary + net can be downloaded from here: https://workupload.com/file/ggEUrvNVgmH I have a Linux system. Are there build instructions for this engine anywhere? Nodchip's repo contains all the needed code to compile the binary. Net is still can still be had from the previous link. https://github.com...

Re: SPCC: Testruns of StockFiNN 0.2 and Lc0 J90-40 finished

It looks like SPCC uses a skylake CPU so that build should be good. Of course. I measured the binary-speed and that build was the fastest on my machine. So, I used it for the testrun. Would you be willing to do a quick test with the binaries from the test above? The earlier ones were legit bugged, ...

Re: SPCC: Testruns of StockFiNN 0.2 and Lc0 J90-40 finished

It looks like SPCC uses a skylake CPU so that build should be good. Sadly I do not have an intel machine to test and compile with, but it should be just a little bit faster than the AVX2 builds I would think. It looks like SPCC also uses Hertz book which I did some tests with and found it was simil...

Re: StockFiNN Release and Scaling

difficulty comes mainly from a lacking (and difficult to properly implement) testing methodology. Due to the enormous amounts of computation necessary to train and test a series of leela nets, tests unfold over months, not minutes or hours. That, rather than the lack of a good method, is what hampe...

Re: Raphexon's NNUE eval net

Non-default slowmover no longer seems needed.
I no longer have time issues with either Pleomati's binaries or Nodchip's latest from 7-13.

In fact, my 27-06 net is fully competitive with a month old SF-dev* now, even at 10s+0.1s.

*Haven't tested against the very latest, but should be close anyway.

Thanks for testing. This was the list I was waiting to see. Clear established over Fire // Xiphos.
Getting real close to Komodo now.
