Re: Impressive Preliminary Results of Rybka 3 by Larry Kaufm

Re: Karen Asrian dead

Yes, this is really very very sad news. I was completely shocked when I read about his death. Rest in peace Karen, the chess world will miss you.

Re: Setting master returns. H12 what a big show!!?

Ulysses is right, Hiarcs is using its book as the moves 0.00/1 indicate. This is because Hiarcs uses a bin book, which cannot be switched off the way you did it. Post games please!

Hi,

Is it possible for the Hiarcs team to post the games of the Rybka match in this forum? As they tested against RybkaII.ctg I am curious how many Hiarcs wins were book wins :-).

Thanks, Jeroen

Re: Larsen.s opening-- book

Hi,

Try the Rybka forum:

http://rybkaforum.net/cgi-bin/rybkaforum/forum_show.pl

There is a Rybka fan called Alan and he has the largest 1.b3 database in the world. I think he would be very interested in your work.

Kind regards,

Jeroen Noomen

Re: Rybka not considered best by rival programmers?

Hi Enrique, I bet a LOT more people will know soon who the worldchamp is. Rybka will be advertised as 'worldchampion 2007' and people visiting chess shops will notice. Not the WCCC is important, but the title is. In any case, I think your bitterness is unfounded, just wait and relax! All strong ches...
