Re: CCRL adapted TC to current hardware

I am very much in favour of incremental clock which in my case (I currently test at 40/2) would be 4+2, with a ratio of 120, while approximately keeping total game time the same. ... I guess this was a typo and you meant 2+2 instead of 4+2? 40/2 is similar (just a bit weaker IIRC) compared to 2+1 s...

Re: Best Nets for Lc0 Page

Sergio 1705 net is out. Strong!! I would say that Sergio's 256x20b net 1541 net is the strongest around for my OC-ed RTX 2070 GPU on any reasonable TC, even LTC. Here is what I get with the BigNets: Games at 30'' + 0.3'' SV 384x30b Rank Name Elo +/- Games Score Draws 1 1573 36 19 800 55.1% 38.3% 2 ...

Re: CCRL adapted TC to current hardware

Thanks for the explanations, both of you. ... My understanding is that CCRL is sticking to the old repeating time control (which at equal total time used leads to lower quality compared to standard increment, ... I see it exactly the opposite, usually inc games lead to low quality in the endgame, o...

Re: Best Nets for Lc0 Page

The best Net is Leelenstein 12.2. No doubt about that, anymore, after finishing my 3000 game testrun: https://www.sp-cc.de/lc0-testing.htm Congrats to Josh! https://www.patreon.com/jjosh/posts (you have to be a Patreon of Josh (3$ per month (plus taxes)), to download LS 12.2, so it is a commercial ...

Re: Sergio NN 40x512

Do you mean a smaller net, which has 5x or 10x more nodes per move, would get much more points than a 40x512 net? https://groups.google.com/group/lczero/attach/39db816fdb86b/1400scalingcomparison.png?part=0.1&view=1&authuser=0 I am not sure what are these 44 points and the statistical significance ...

Re: Sergio NN 40x512

Can we get some 40x512 nets? :D :D :D That would also improve our understanding of NN development, NN training, GPU/CPU/NPU and RAM. It could help to detect problems and bugs too. If Sergio could release 40x512 NNs, (maybe with 7-men tb rescoring and also trained with some Chess960 opening/games), ...

Re: Best Nets for Lc0 Page

... For now I am testing Sergio's 384x30b BigNet against the best JHorthos 256x20b net in 2 games from an unbalanced opening position, side and reversed. Time control is similar to TCEC TC, 2 hours + 30 seconds. The opening is unbalanced, because with balanced openings the Draw rate is above 90% at...
