That is good news.I see UBI soft have also released ChessMaster for the Nintendo DS.Be interesting to see how it stacks up against a 624mHz Pocket PC.

Sounds like a good idea.I am thinking about purchashing a DGT board and would want to use it with my iPaq pocketPC which has Bluetooth installed.That way I could play PocketGrandMaster and have voice announcements.Also the ease of using Bluetooth compared to wires makes this so attractive.

I wonder when it says it can beat 99% of all chess players and be about 1000 elo.Maybe it means 99% of chess players can beat it!Or are they counting chess players everyone in the world or even chess players that have died. There is a difference maybe because Anthony Cozzie has stopped programming chess engines and so does not care about making a financial living from this pursuit.Where as SMK has continued to work on Shredder and deserves the most that he can get.Money is the incentive for him to keep on improving and...

These results are using my iPaq 2790 624mhz PPC.All using max Hash.
Toga ll 1.2.1a in PocketGrandMaster GUI, 6 secs.
Fruit 2.1 in PocketGrandMaster GUI, 25 secs.
PocketFritz2, 2 secs!!
Hiarcs 9.6 using StyleTap emulator, 4 secs.
Chess Genius 1.801, 51 secs.
