Re: Rybka Investigation : Survey Of Evidence

Typical.
Ed,

Let me repeat Garcia´s question in a little different form:

had it been correct Ed, to take Rebel´s code, 10 years ago, make some changes and sell it around as an original software?

Re: Ed Schröder retires from ICGA.

Zach, You many years ago declared full war on Vas, soiled his name and you, of all, complains? Apparently you don't have understood some rules in life yet. 1. Every action causes a reaction of the same magnitude. 2. Declare war without getting hurt yourself is an utopia. I am sorry for you that you...

M ANSARI wrote:If Vas has any blame in all this, it is that he did not defend himself when all the ICGA accusations came about.
Do you know why he did not defend himself?
Is he so humble and religious lad?

IMHO

I am almost sure Robert has the right to commercialize Houdini 2, but I am pretty sure it is not ethical because he has not made any agreement with other co-authors, his predecessors. This way, he is exposing himself to Vasik´s fate: his program will be desasembled at some point of the story, becaus...

Re: Houdini with 1:1 Robbolito-code?

Yes, it seems to be a common name in German-speaken countries. And while two persons have always two minds, still - every full-moon - we occassionally share one or two common opinions... And honestly, the more i read about this Houdini-affair, the more i get disappointed... not to long ago i ...

Re: Is there a SCID_vs_PC forum?

I`d like to know if it is possible (and how to do it) to change the colors of FICS window, and if it is possible to use timeseal, running SCID_vs_PC 4.4.1, Macbook with OS X Snow Leopard. I've recently started the Scid vs. PC mailing list , so please subscribe :) We're going to make a 4.5 release s...

A mayority of the users here trust the moderators. You can't expect that the mods read everything. Report an insulting post and they will delete it. Roger just deleted one, you are still complaining... If one of the moderators comments on the offending post, would you think it is a safe assumption ...

Re: PGN standard & null moves (Steven?)

Well, I am no PGN expert, but I looked in the PGN specs I found at Tim Mann's website, and it did not seem to mention symbols like =+ at all. How things are displayed is one thing (I agree that displaying things like $12 is absolutely awful!), but when saving on file, I would think obeying the stan...
