Re: The Code : 06-01-52-54-37, 06-01-57-55-99, 06-02-71-63-

This is definitely not a very sophisticated setup, and I can think of a million better ways with much less effort and less chance of getting caught. This makes you wonder if cheating is much more common than we all think. What I do think is that ANY mobile device should definitely not be allowed an...

Re: Stunning Komodo

Have you any proof that Dan has used Ippo code in the way you suggest? If not, better keep yourt mouth shut because otherwise you are commiting an insult. Fern Wow. It's all about "originality", right? And "originality" has to do with IDEAS, not CODE, right? Thus, copying one-input-one-output funct...

Re: An engine for beginners?

Hello, I need a chess engine that will play so weak that a beginner should have a chance once in a while. It should not play like 2600 for some time and then drop a rook. I need it to play at 1000-1400 all the way. Any chance? Thanks for your time, i think many on this forum believe Rybka would mee...

Re: The best opening book for Arena?

I have an excellent book for Arena for 5 moves. It may be used for more than 5 moves (but not more than 10) however, it may not be so excellent as it is for 5 moves. If you are interested, send me your e-mail by PM. I would be very interested in your book. Why not post it for download. Best, Gerold...

Re: David Levy asked for opinions

unclear! I await a better reaction! In my opinion should a program, based on a GPL engine, not get an official WCCC title. If Vas can't give a a clear proof that Rybka 1.0 Beta isn't based on Fruit, sorry but all won title should be cancelt. The programmer of Rybka has time enough for a clear state...

Re: Why Was CCC Created?

As I recall the CCC was created due problems Ed was having with the Pope OR was it the Pope was having with Ed at RGCC? Any other opinions and factoids are welcome! Cordially, Sean Evans Not just Ed. Rolf basically ran amok in r.g.c.c and ran quite a few off. A group of us decided to start a new pl...

Re: What's the result of Fabien's open letter?

Hi Ricardo, if a strong group of users are able to learn, more is possible! If not ... all will be the same! Thinking on it ... This hobby can be much more interesting if more persons will find the way to us because more ideas, more developments and more possibilities will be the result. Very easy!...

Re: Allow steroids

I don't actually own any chessbase engines, I've never even played with Rybka except for the first free one. Sure you don't. And I do own a singing frog. You cannot imagine there are people that have no Chessbase products? I never touched a Chessbase product in my life. I don't even h...
