Re: Chess Fighter 2.0 release

It sounds like you must already have CUDA 10 installed as you already use Leela (right?). In which case, judging from other peoples posts, Chess Fighter should work fine. If you download the zip file all the CUDA 9 dlls are included. Just keep everything in the same folder. Don't put the CUDA 10 dl...

Capablanca Random Chess engines.

Trying (again) to make people interested in the great Chess variant, and i'm talking about Capablanca Random Chess (+Gothic Chess). :D So since i have many years to see what is going on, can you list todays engines that can play this variant? I'm aware and I own the Stockfish' port into that, the St...

Re: Chess Fighter 2.0 release

You will need a GPU with at least Cuda 9 installed. Thanks. Where can i find that? Any concrete link to download them? OR since Leela got permission to have the appropriate dlls distributed with her, is there any chance that putting these 3 dlls of Leela for CUDA and cudnn in a folder with Chessfig...

Re: TCEC S15, END of an ERA event is much more Brutal than I thought!

After 26 games in TCEC SUFI, Leela is leading with 15-11. My prediction for TCEC was just 55-45 Leela win. cap4.PNG FPGA might come next for chess engines, but it's a bit more involved to make them play chess. Not exactly fair for something like TCEC, but I think Stockfish's hardware saviour is a c...

Does anyone have the game in a pgn file - this should never happen, some GUIs do not apply the 50 move rule correctly.

Re: On-line engine blitz tourney April

Thanks for organizing the tournament. CrazyZero is my generic AlphaZero implementation (I currently have networks for Go, shogi, gomoku, Othello, renju, and chess). I spent only a few days training a network. It is 20 layers of 128 units. It was running with two Volta GPU (V100 + TitanV). It has go...

Fritz GUI (technically Komodo 12 ChessBase GUI), and yes, new engine. It was obviously not playing like normal Lc0 versions. Evaluations of positions with material lost were drastically different.
WOW. Then these results are very very impressive.

Re: Lc0 51010

I noticed that Lc0 started a new network from scratch, and after just ten iterations it showed a rating around 1500 (now 1466). I have read that these self-play ratings are inflated, so I imagined that its true strength was lower than 1500. So I played it a couple games at 5' + 5" (I'm too old for ...
