Re: Fat Fritz destroyed Stockfish!

Also, strength-wise, it is probably the level of 11248 net, being more similar in move choices to 42850 net. No way that 11248 could be able to beat latest SF dev 52-48 in a 100 games match. It would lose badly. Hopefully tomorrow i will play a 1'+0.6" 100 games match of FatFritz vs lc0_T40B4_200 t...

A moment from the match where SF's +2.12 for many moves was dead wrong and game ended a draw. Fat Fritz was correct on that.

Fat Fritz destroyed Stockfish!

Surely a nonsense title, but still its performance in this match was spectacular. :D Of course too few games to conclude anything about their strength, but still Fat Fritz seems extremely strong! Conditions: Time control 1 minute + 1 second/move . TCEC's Season 16 superfinal openings (50 so 100 game...

I discuss this exact position as part of my review of Fat Fritz / F17 that comes out in two parts beginning today. (This specific position is discussed in Part II.)
Where your review will be? Chessbase or some other place?

NNs seem to solve the Gusev Qxe5!! easily.

NN engines seem to be able to solve the Gusev Qxe5!! incredible Queen sacrifice quite easily!  And with solve i mean not only to find the Qxe5 move, but to have a positive score and show correct continuation also! :!: Fat Fritz solves it in seconds, same as Leela's T40(20x256) nets, e...

Re: Fritz 17

What is the difference between "Fritz17Setup_x64" and "Fritz17Setup_Win10" ? Both list as 64-bit on installation. Having both alternatives is :? I run on Windows 10 64-bit. I had the same wondering myself. I went with Win10 installation which was x64 too. Maybe the "Fritz17Setup_x64" is just for pr...

Re: Fritz 17

Thx for speedy response, Graham and Ozymandias. Sorry but I have no idea what fp16 is. Not asking for a lengthy explanation; just a quick pointer for if I buy this thing. Cheers.... But is the NN engine all you care about, not the Fritz17 AB engine? If that's the case, it's not worth buying. Why no...

Re: Fritz 17

Let's Check database has now support for 7-piece syzygy support. It list won endgames (from white perspective) as "1" and win for black as "-1" Nalimov is still there if 6 pieces remain on the board. Yeah i'm going to buy Fritz 17. Is there a download (for full DVD, databases, opening books, engine...
