Just saw that white has Bg7 so Ne4 probably drops the exchange.
IMO white has a large advantage at this point.

So basically the consensus is that it is much better than R3 in shorter controls? And George has a version which is stronger than that?

It's kind of funny because I have analyzed 1 game with it and found a bug (it insists that I sac my Queen and drops eval by ~6 after that, and it does not go away).

I consistently like Karjakin. His like a good mixture of the old Soviet-school active playing style with very good technique and very active repertoire (1. e4, Najdorf with black against 1.e4). I play blitz on playchess and have never really "felt an engine" opposite; I sometimes analyze tactical games afterwards and never encountered anything like M ANSARI said, i.e. someone doing a dozen of only moves.

For a chess program it is very hard to really protect the code from reverse engineering.

The reason is that making the code hard to break makes it also slower. For a chess engine this is a no-no.

Unfortunately, the instructions on the page for linux are not complete and what is worse is the lack of a self installer for linux. For linux newbies this can be a nightmare. Yes, it installs a version of scid which is from 2004 I believe :)
