Re: Banned from TCEC chat

I talked with some other people who were also banned. It turns out that there are no clear rules and that the administrators just like the power. I was probably banned for mentioning the YLCET web-site, but others that also mentioned it was not banned. I think the chat has turned out to be a group f...

Re: Banned from TCEC chat

I have seen the movie. Very interesting !
I'm trying not to do like the prisoners and passively accept the abuse.
Another good example of what happens when you give power to immature people.

Best regards

Re: Banned from TCEC chat

This is clearly a haven for immature mini dictators.
I have decided never to use Twitch again and will recommend others to do the same.
I did a search on Google about Twitch and learned that there are a lot of problems with it that are not adressed.

Best regards

Re: Banned from TCEC chat

Thanks for the information. Obviously free speech is not important on Twitch. It seems all kind of harassment and dictatorial behaviour is OK for the administrators. I wrote a complaint to Twitch but I don't think that will help. I have decided never to use Twitch again and will encourage everybody ...

Banned from TCEC chat

I rarely write anything there and now see that I have been banned permanently. Is this some kind of reversion to Soviet Union and Stalin system ?

No warning about possible wrongdoing, no explanation - just banned.
Must be som 14 year old who finally got some power to abuse.

Re: Test position from TCEC final

This is not a good test since Stockfish found this much earlier, but the long think surprised us all by showing a winning score and a winning plan in a position everybody thought was a draw.

Re: TortoiseSVN and SF

Why not use TortoiseGit since it is a Git repository. I use this and it works very much in the same way as TortoiseSVN.

Re: Funny mate in 16!

It solves the mate in 16 easily but I was refering to the solution in one move less when you add the limitation that only knight promotions are legal. I modified my own program to solve it that way though so in a way you are right.
