Re: Help with Norm Pollock's namelist

Thanks Jim, if you hadnt told me, I would have never figured that out. I got everything working fine...Now it would be much easier for me to create a rating list without any double entries. Only if I can find a tool that would automatically assign rankings to an edited list... Hi Tony, If the elos ...

Re: CCRL update (8th February 2008)

Hi Graham, Regarding the name change confusion with Zappa Mexico in 40/40. Your team originally had Zappa Mexico update as Zappa Mexico II. Now that the official "Zappa Mexico II" was released as a new version, it appears that what ccrl previously called "Zappa Mexico II" is now called "Zappa Mexico...

Re: CEGT - rating lists update January 27th 2008

Hi, Is late better than never? Or is never better than late? I was testing a utility I wrote on your 40/4 download pgn and it extracted 157 games from 2005-6 in which the same engine is listed for both White and Black. Seven engines were involved. Since the white score was 48.7%, it is likely that b...

Re: CEGT - rating lists January 20th 2008

Hi,

Is the marathon Rybka 64-bit or 32-bit version? It appears to be 32-bit by its name.

[White "Zappa Mexico X64 v.2 4CPU"]
[Black "Rybka 2.3.2a mp 4CPU"]

Re: CEGT - rating lists January 20th 2008

Does CEGT plan on resuming the 40/120 testing for 1 and 2 CPU engines?

A great, great chess player has passed on. Too bad he suffered from mental issues, and too bad his chess career ended so soon after his match with Spassky.

I think his match with Spassky will be viewed historically as the turning point of the Cold War.

Re: Uri, did you ever thought of surpasing Chess Tiger &

Hi Uri,

How can I implement the "10 10 10" setting with version 8_438? I do not have any docs.

Btw, the number of games at wbec is much smaller than the number of games at ccrl.

Hi Werner,

The download page for 40/120 games

http://www.husvankempen.de/nunn/Replay/ ... d40120.htm

only gives links for games through 02 Dec 2007, instead of 16 Dec 2007.

Re: CCRL update (7th December 2007)

"After internal discussions, we have changed our engine notes for Strelka."

What notes? Any changes? I do not see Stelka on the "Best Engines" list, but I see her on the "Complete List".
