Re: Wanted: some opposition to the provided evidence

Chris- your post above does indeed 'appear' personal in nature. i don't have any info on Steve B's history, but is that really relevant? his post seemed quite respectful, logical, well-worded and level-headed to me, not devious. Norm i guess Norm my "personal history" might include the fact that i ...

Re: Wanted: some opposition to the provided evidence

Don't get me wrong, I am interested in seeing this issue discussed and if it came to it, would support any action taken to resolve the possible GPL violation. This forum also seems to be the best place on the internet to discuss it, given the member's depth of knowledge and experience in the subjec...

Re: Wanted: some opposition to the provided evidence

Has Vas responded in any way about this? How can one find points in his favor if there is nothing but a deafening silence from his side of the table??? No, he hasn't... There's no definite conclusion to draw. Some see his silence as being mature and above the "trivialities" of it all, when for othe...

Re: Wanted: some opposition to the provided evidence

More specifically, the evidence is posted to show that a work derived from GPL'ed source code has been published as closed source, when the spirit of the GPL licence under which the original work was published is to always allow the source code to be kept open and shared. It is not only against the...

Re: Too Much Money for an Old Computer...!!

This computer does not appear to come with the original box or any manuals. It does not appear to come with the original (or any) pieces either, so I think it is overpriced. Peter agreed here is an indication of what past CC1's have sold for on Ebay: http://www.elpeon.com/index.php?mod=fidelity 5b-...

Re: Too Much Money for an Old Computer...!!

It has been estimated that maybe 125 cc1 's have survived and are working - this one - serial number 30499 is the 52nd known cc1 to have survived and it appears to be in working order. Without the box, Iwould not go over $600. Since the asking prices is so close to market value , it may not attract...
