Re: Ordoprep 0.8

I experienced instability with ordoprep. The -g and --major-only options caused segmentation fault or seemingly frozen even after 30 minutes of processing. Other regular options are operational. The preprocessed pgn file size is 430MB with 6.5 million records and 1,638 players. I tried with only 54...

Re: Ordoprep 0.8

Version 0.9.9 https://github.com/michiguel/Ordoprep/releases/tag/v0.9.9 The traditional way to use ordoprep is ordoprep -p games.pgn -o out.pgn But if the following switch is added ordoprep -p games.pgn -o out.pgn --major-only out.pgn will contain games from the major group of engines that are well ...

Re: Ordo 1.0.9 (new features for testers)

Very nice implementation. Rating list producers now have better flexibility and control over the list output. v1.2 Ordoprep modification transported to Ordo (-i and -x issue warnings when there are problems, do not exit) https://github.com/michiguel/Ordo/releases/tag/1.2 Long switches implemented u...

Re: Ordo 1.0.9 (new features for testers)

For consistency, the Score% and Draw% fields should have the same variable precision as RATING, ERROR, OppAvg and OppErr. Incidentally, I use 2 decimals and overrides the source code to have my way. I implemented in a different way https://github.com/michiguel/Ordo/releases/tag/1.1.8 I think that r...

Re: Ordo 1.0.9 (new features for testers)

Hello Miguel, That is nice, especially the multiple file possibility. I allways feard that the size of my pgn file will be too big sooner or later. Btw, is there a limit of the file size Ordo can handle and what is the limit for the number of individual PGNs it can include into one list? The alias ...

Re: Ordoprep 0.8

Very good! My concerns are addressed. Ordoprep is really fast and errors in the include/exclude files are emitted for quick fix. Surely, the patch would also apply in Ordo. This is for Ordo: 1. When using the -b option to format the output, the headers in the right side of the CFS(next) caption whe...

Re: Ordoprep 0.8

The latest Ordoprep 0.9.3 compiles fine now. By gut feel, it is lightning fast compared to my custom Python script to extract a subset of games from a big file containing millions of PGN games. However it chokes when it can't match from the include file and produce an error message 'Errors in file ...
