Re: how many points will Komodo score vs. GM Lenderman?

"Odds" is little more than theater for those who might like weird spectacles. My opinion of course. "Time odds" - now that is the only thing of interest to me because both sides are at least playing the 'same game' with the 'same pieces'...only the machine will always think (?? okay, calculate) fas...

Re: Can somebody do simply this? By far the strongest engine!

It never was available because I lost interest while it wasn't ready for release. Things like time control and draws by repetition etc. But it works and Kai's observation is quite to the point. Is Kai right that his crude ? ' Lc0 first 35 moves and using SF after 35 moves to the end. ' should just ...

Re: Can somebody do simply this? By far the strongest engine!

I am unaware of a hybrid engine of the simplest kind, and I don't know what's the matter. Somebody better than me at coding can do this in an hour. Simply: play using Lc0 first 35 moves and using SF after 35 moves to the end. On some RTX GPU and 4 to 32 core machine this combo will be by far the be...

Re: First knight odds match with IM Saturday

Hoping to see some live broadcast with commentary (I know I sound like a broken record, but I expect that one day the platform where one of such matches will be broadcast will be announced.) Chess.com is only interested in providing live commentary for matches with "big names", which cost real mone...

Re: First knight odds match with IM Saturday

For the first time ever, an engine (Komodo, probably the MCTS nn dev. version) will play a rapid (15' + 10") knight odds match on chess.com with an I.M., namely my son Raymond Kaufman, this Saturday Jan 4 at 4 pm Eastern time. Four games are planned, alternating g1/b1 knight odds. Look for games of...
