Lc0 Backend Question

Hi, I asked this on discord but got no answer: Has the Backend of Lc0 changed re: commands? I'm using two GPUs and I want to use them both for Lc0. In Novemebr I used Round Robin and this command: (backend=cuda-fp16,gpu=0),(backend=cuda-fp16,gpu=1) which worked fine. Now, it doesn't. What do I need ...

Re: Apple New Mac Mini

With Apple's own M1 chip, the new Mac Mini out performs the 2010 12 Core Mac Pro and its approx cost of NPS/$ of 25000nps*/$ ( total cost is $699) is roughly on par with any RPI4 on nps/$ basis. This is probably the best value for the dollar from Apple in a long long time. *This is my estimate base...

Re: Fat Fritz 2

Can someone comment on this: At 31:30 Albert S clearly says Fat Fritz 2 is "genuinely stronger than what's out there right now, without a question and clearly so" And SF Dev is referenced saying Fat Fritz 2 is measurably stronger. I'm just not seeing this at all on my tests, and I used SF Dev which ...

Re: Fat Fritz 2

They can say their net is the best net etc., even if is not true , that is called "puffing" and it legal to boast claims that are not true unless unless the exaggeration exceeds the reality. Meaning you can say "best" , as long as you are close to being best or strongest. So in my opinion there is ...

Re: Fat Fritz 2

Legal concerns aside for a moment, I do think it's a bit dishonest they compare F.F to SF 12 rather than using the clearly stronger SF Dev. When you write an article claiming to be the strongest chess entity, the closest rivals need to be included and SF 12 isn't it anymore. SFDev is a moving targe...

Re: Fat Fritz 2

How much stronger is SF Dev compared with SF 12? I ask because they claim +40 elo with regard to Fat Fritz, but SF Dev must be close or more than 40 elo above it.

Re: Fat Fritz 2

Oh goodness. Do you actually have to buy it for 99 euros? Has the interface changed since Fritz 17?
