5... Qf7
6. Ne3
white wins
Let's put the ball in the back of the net:

1.e4 e5 2. Nf3 f5 3. Nxe5 Qf6 4. Nc4 fxe4 5. Nc3 Qf7
6. Ne3 d5 7. Nexd5 c6 8. Ne3 Nf6

If that's your line above, your move.

Re: Is the Latvian losing?

1.e4 e5 2. Nf3 f5 3. Nxe5 Qf6 4. Nc4!? (regular 4.d4 may be slightly better) ...fxe4 5. Nc3

and I wonder how many OTB players would find 5...Qf7! to stay in the game

Re: Top Engines 1990-2020 Video

I wonder if those three engines really are stronger than Alpha Zero Stronger than it was. They may have improved it since, but if they hide that that’s not our fault for assuming the best they have was what they revealed. I’m having a similar frustration with SC2. While its play last year was very ...

Re: Nibbler Lc0 GUI - updates

Search depth really isn't a thing with Leela. So what are other GUIs reporting? And is there a place which describes the search of Lc0 in simple terms? Most of the attention in articles seems to be on the NN (evaluation function?). I only understood the other day that it's the CPU which does the ac...

Re: Nibbler Lc0 GUI - updates

I found Round Robin with 4 threads was fastest with 2 x 2080 Ti

Wow just wow. I haven't been this impressed with a new way of doing analysis since the IDeA option in Aquarium was unveiled.
And this is so simple.

Really impressive.

Re: Nibbler Lc0 GUI - updates

Sorry for the repetition - I missed this thread. First - GREAT GUI! Second, how does one get 2 GPUs running in Nibbler? I tried creating a lc0.config file with (backend=cudnn-fp16,gpu=0),(backend=cudnn-fp16,gpu=1) in it but it didn't work In Nibbler, click App > Show config.json Edit your NIBBLER c...
