Re: Put that PGN into the MRI

One more thing, I noticed your Cutechess PGN has the time in 2 decimals (0.92s), mine has only 1 decimal (0.9s). Yes, I wrote this already in my first post. I compiled Cutechess and CuteChess for doing so, because with short tc stats, I need more precision. Other people use that compilation too BTW...

Re: Put that PGN into the MRI

After the change in the pgn I got at least two different time results compared to before. But still something there seems to be wrong? The test lasted over 16:03:xx. after adding (s) again to move times: Depths MIDG END1 END2 END3 BOOK TIME Stockfish_11 17.1 17.5 22.9 25.2 3.5 (moves) 5:09:40 Stockf...

Re: Andscacs

It is. https://github.com/jeffreyan11/laser-chess-engine/blame/5446dcdba7483bff7016d969dfb4784d9239d51a/src/uci.cpp#L79 You don't need to update your public github and still can have a newer version locally... It was not announced dead anyway. Others even came back after >10 or >15 years w/o any an...

Re: Put that PGN into the MRI

I downloaded it and tested it on a fresh pgn and have a few suggestions and questions. This was a test of SF11 vs. SF11x2 (approx. half time used) 1. Unluckily it cuts off the name in the general overview, thus both entities look now the same (could be cured by allowing more chars I guess) From the...

Re: Insults from a member in pm ... Why ?

I just receive insulting message from "Daniel Kemmer / SheikhYerbouti" ... I don't understand why ? Have I said something wrong here ? Simply report this to the moderators. I don't think moderators can see PMs. But I also don't think moderator intervention is needed to handle those: unlike offensiv...

Re: Time handicap tournament. LC0 and SF11

Thanks for looking! Definitely have to clean look at these time forfeit games. I can create cleaned-up versions of the pgn files without PV. A first quick look also revealed that (as I supposed) that most of the times SF/2 wins vs. SF were only due to crappy openings starting with +2 or so. A large...

Re: How do you know if your cpu is equal to your gpu?

Well, your 1.0 point is just like the weight handicap of horse 1 that makes the horses dead heat in a race. (Your first paragraph is just saying there's always some handicap of the horses that gets a dead heat.) I don't know why you regard that as "equality" of the cpu and gpu. That's like saying t...

Re: Time handicap tournament. LC0 and SF11

At least it motivated me to create another regex macro ;-) Below are the pgn files transformed into sth more readable and usable and size 1:10. (I left the 700 'forfeits on time lines' in one match in) http://rwbc-chess.de/Downloads/Debug/SF-SF2_PGN.7z Example before: [Event "SF vs SF half q5"] [Sit...

Re: Time handicap tournament. LC0 and SF11

There is one correction, the SF 10s/1s was 10s/0.1s instead. Here are the games: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1GpvrPEyaDJBDQCp8QYpL9sA_QsLGJV7V Let me know what weird things you find. The results so far are pretty much what I expected. The last match is already for the trash bin, it contains 70...
