Re: Señor Valverde , your order was accomplished !

That's the problem ;-) You played with ponder on, but disabled it in EveAnns ini file, which means the opponent pondered and EveAnn not. Still this does not explain the crashing though. Guenther EveAnn is getting very few CPU time (no idea why) and I guess it is missing WB commands because of that....

Re: Señor Valverde , your order was accomplished !

I noticed though that you played with ponder on and that EveAnn reached abnormal low depths. Guenther Nope , Maestro Guenther ! PONDER_ENABLED = NO in EveAnn.ini file - in both games !! Regards, SilvianR  That's the problem ;-) You played with ponder on, but disabled it in EveAnns ini file, w...

Re: Francesca is MAD ! Very MAD !

A side note: I am surprised that FranMad still is one of the very very few WB programs which doesn't declare mate? (A workaround for your problem would be to set adjudication to a normal value, you must have set it it to > 100 or disabled at all - still the problem is interesting and could be a WB p...

Re: Ponder=on in cutechess-cli?

Thanks for the suggestion, but it'd better be a command-line tool because I'm using it at work and my boss can see my screen from the distance (he can't read it, but definetly would see a chess board) AFAIK there exists a noGUI flag too, but I have never tried it. HG will surely comment on t...

Re: It May Be Over Before the Fat Lady Sings

If testing is what you like, before quitting, do something that the community badly needs: test in Linux. Moreover, start a Linux rating list! Goodbye to all the problems you mention. No crashes, no crap running on the background, no need to update adobe every two seconds, no antivirus... If Window...

According to the arguments I've read, Vitruvius should be considered "virgin" ... But instead he is a "sailed woman"! :D I don't know what you have read but it was always clear that it is a derivate and the 'author' confesses this himself(may be still not emphasizing enough the percentage of the 'o...
