Re: Greetings and new Eubos chess engine

Hi David, Thanks very much for making me aware of the CCRL website/forum and, by virtue of that, this forum as well. I have really enjoyed all the games that Eubos and ChessChildren have played on Lichess. I think your engine was a major part in getting Eubos to where it is now, it has been a fanta...

Re: BanksiaGUI version 0.11 released

A suggestion for a future improvement: Logarithmic scaling would make the graph look better, if one does late adjudication. Otherwise most part of the graph will look flat, even when the scores were already quite high. I started working on this suggestion. Just have seen some issues: - Logarithmic ...

Re: New engine: seeChess

Hi all! I just got into the hobby of chess engines, and I am finally happy enough with the start of this engine to release it. It is heavily based on Vice by bluefever, but it should play around 2200 ELO. It is written in C, and is UCI compliant. the GitHub link: https://github.com/bctboi23/seeChes...

Re: CuteChessGUI v1.1.0: 'cancellation stall' abort.

crem I do have Ponder enabled. Sense you think problem lies with lc0. Any chance setting a memory limit would solve problem? Have idea that after 3 games, memory management becomes an issue. NNCacheSize set to 20,480,000 (6.68GB). System RAM 16GB. --- Guenther Thanks for link to ChessEngine code. S...

Re: CuteChessGUI v1.1.0: 'cancellation stall' abort.

In my matches between Stockfish and lc0 (Leela Chess Zero), have suffered several aborted games due to Black's cancellation stall . Cute Chess message has always referred to lc0. The result of going through logs of both Cute Chess and lc0 is a question as follows: Is there any reason why Cute Chess...

Re: Sapeli 1.0 - New chess engine

I have omitted 1.70 by accident and already uploaded 1.71 (though not released by yourself). BTW I have created a single download now, which contains all my compilations. Due to server migration it might take some time until it is reachable from the new server. (still directing to the old IP here, d...

Re: New engine releases 2020

RWBC will move to a new server today.
It will last some hours until dns propagation is finished.
Anyhow you should reset your cache for it.

Wholly Unknown Chess Engine....Gumble UCI....

I don't see how it can be compiled with a few header files missing, which should be the include folder, but are not there.
At least zobrist.h and coords.h are missing...

May be Tony can look into it.

I have the original author's binary & source code & gpl license release.
It would be nice, if you could send it to my rwbc mail address.
rwbc (at) gmx.de. Thanks.
