Re: A Game of Perception

Hey Albert, it is a game between 2 very strong engines using no book. If needed, the evals can be posted. Wanted to see how they behave at very long time control. I'll try 4 hours next. Would you mind telling the real names of these engines? Sven I guess this was a rethorical question Sven? ;-) (F....

Re: Tool for tactical improvement

The LGDEBPGN tool is not necessary anymore as I wrote before. (It is obsolote since end of 2006, its use was to produce readable pgns out of WB debugs, thus you don't need it. Just feed your pgn file and fiddle with the settings.) Guenther Perhaps a caveat, I see you want to check your own games. I...

Re: Tool for tactical improvement

Before hacking it by myself, I would like to know if there is a program that goes through a pgn file and makes an epd file of the positions in which a tactical shot was missed. I prefer open source software in linux environment, but other solutions could be OK. The pipeline could be something like ...

Re: Arena bug? engine evals pgn vs main window

I don't see it. The pgn correctly shows negative values for White since
38. Re2. May be you got confused by the different line break after Bxe4,
which was a Black move?

Re: Congratulations to the new moderators

Whoever they are :-) I see that the polls closed, with 197 votes. (!) Just to be the first to congratulate. Miguel It is obvious to me that the elections are faked. There are at least 25% more votes than in all elections before, despite being much less members than in the past. Time to leave that p...

Re: Vte NO -Rybka forum style censorship/control here CCC fo

Why can't you concentrate your view in one post/thread? This propaganda behaviour is quite annoying. This thread is the same as that one also from you: http://www.talkchess.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31760 Both are the same as this one, but I agree that you should have the right to express it also in...
