Re: Banksia GUI released

(A first time user impression, just for possible improvements in the handling) What annoyed me in the beginning was that I was not able to see the running game of a started new tournament. I first thought it did not work on my system, but after I checked the task manager I saw the programs were runn...

Re: Banksia GUI released

Note that I want co copy around 4-5000 entries adapted with a script from my cutechess engines.json :) BSG can help much in this issue. Instead of converting JSON from other GUIs (a long, tired and too easy get mistake process), you may let BSG detects automatically them all. Just keep engines in t...

Re: Banksia GUI released

It seems Banksia changed the output for a promotion from lowercase b2b1q to uppercase b2b1Q when sending the move list to the opponent. My guess is that this caused a timeout in Gogobello 2.1 - it showed no output anymore in the log and lost on time. 22:16:37 RubiChess_16-64> info depth 42 seldepth ...

Re: Banksia GUI released

Can you tell me how to use a pgn 'book' with starting lines in a tournament setup? I did not succeed with the engines using my pgn file instead they always used the start position. The content looks like this: [Event "Book"] [Site "RWBC"] [Date "????.??.??"] [Round "?"] [White "ABC"] [Black "XYZ"] [...

Unfortunately, it always hangs under Banksia. Re: Banksia GUI released

Today I started a swiss tourament just for experimenting. However, on the chess board I saw a previus game I played against an engine and the picture did not change. In the tournament window I could see that the tournament is running, though (and task manager also showed that they were playing). Wh...

MORA 1.1.0 is now available.

I added support to set the size of the transposition table with the UCI setoption command. I also fixed a bug related to the pawn hash table.
Fine. BTW, what does MORA stand for?
I have a deja vu...

Re: Engine release: weiss

Hello, first time posting here. I'm fairly new to the scene; I got into chess programming late this summer after TCEC's twitch stream popped up in my recommendeds. After chatting with some of the viewers it seemed like an interesting challenge so I got to watching the VICE youtube series and starte...

Re: Banksia GUI released

Ras already said that only two (small) dlls are missing for Win7. They are: Api-ms-win-core-winrt-string-l1-1-0.dll Api-ms-win-core-winrt-l1-1-0.dll Here are safe download links for both and the current Banksia version will run on Win7 https://wikidll.com/microsoft/api-ms-win-core-winrt-l1-1-0-dll#d...
