Re: 3 commercials

what are the three programs??? what is the point of posting analysis if you don't ascribe it to a particular engine.

Re: Tough Endgame Position

this seems to be a question of which program can get to ~d21 fastest, as much as anything. i cant believe rybka 2.2 cant find it? did you let it get to depth 21 or so? rybka 2.3.2a 32 bit 1 cpu needs just 13 seconds -- [-4.42] d=25 1.Bc6+ Kxe7 2.Bd5 Rxg6 3.Kh5 Rg7 4.g6 Kf6 5.Bf7 Kf5 6.Kh6 Be5 7.Kh5 ...

Re: test position

is this too difficult for today's engines to find at reasonable time? even after playing g4 the best i have to offer practically go haywire for a bit.

Re: Likavsky-Huzman, Quebec op Montreal 2007

by 'pretty quickly' do you mean 'at depth 3 with a score of 0.00 by depth 11 (still at 0 seconds)'? because that's what i'm seeing.

rybka is black magic.
