Yes I do, but it lacks some of the aggression and style of Rebel 12. Although, from what I can see it may be a tad bit stronger.

Re: When interesting play becomes more important than streng

I have bright, very tactical engine, but it seems confused(positionally), almost to chaotic. I prefer Deep Junior 7.0 and now Rebel 12 because they often sac material based on attack possibilities that other engines do not even consider. There is no easy draw! Try to lock the position with Rebel , h...

Re: When interesting play becomes more important than streng

I have contacted chessbase, they are only trying to sell me Deep Junior 10, I purchased it already the first day it was available. To bad Ed did not make Deep Rebel 13.0. On 8 threads Rebel would take some scalps for sure!

When interesting play becomes more important than strength.

I lost my favourite chess engine to play against (Deep Junior 7.0). However, yesterday I replaced it with Rebel 12 from Lokasoft. I could not be more pleased. Perhaps it is not the elo monster Rybka, or Naum is, but it sure destroys me. (approx 2000-2100 elo). To me is seems to play in a style like ...

Re: Shark is probably Rybka 3 Clone

This is of course interesting, but clearly not conclusive. Is this information fiction ? I quote : " The current Hydra team, led by Abdul Mateen Khan, is working on two new chess projects: Cryptic and Shark. Cryptic runs on modern high speed multi-processor CPU. It is programmed in mixed C and Assem...

I lost an old friend

Heya folks, I just upgraded and built a new pc. Core I7 920 6 gigs of ram, fast! However, when re-installing all my chess software, Rybka , Shredder, Deep Sjeng, Cstal, etc etc. I noticed I could not find my Deep Junior 7.0 anywhere. I know it is far weaker than any of the software I mentioned, but ...
