Re: Is Rybka engine is lying about node per second ?

What is the value of NPS? It's an irrelevant number, except for scale anyway. Not really. If you are implementing smp, or trying to optimize your compile, it's more then important. Finally, if a man fails to trim his hedge, should this be a reason to burgle his house? Interesting wording, (un)fortu...

If he is a businessman that only means Vas is a terrible businessman. Which on the other hand is nothing new  .

Re: Is Rybka engine is lying about node per second ?

It is fairly simple. Just multiply nps that you see with 14. The same thing as with ply where you add 3 to get the real one. What Rybka 3 is doing when reporting nps? It first takes number of nodes only for white and then divides it with 7. In total the value is about 14 times smaller then the real ...

Re: Facts

Franklin, there is simply no point. Here, only a specialist can help, and certainly not a chess specialist. Most of the people at the forum have already realized it.

The thing I don't understand is why you tested it with pondering on, when Robbo didn't have pondering implemented in version 0.085c2. So you gave an unfair advantage to Rybka.
If you want to test with pondering on, then try newer version of Robbi like e4.

Lucky for you that you have a very known and sound name. But I think you have misspelled it. It should have been Rofl.

Re: Science &Law should be impartial = neutral without b

There must be a hidden key information that will explain why Bob doesnt rush to a court nor a GPL institution. Fortunately, in your case there is no hidden information. It is quite clear why you are trying full-time to defend Vas so ridiculously. Vas in not stupid at all. Even though that can not b...

Re: Science &Law should be impartial = neutral without b

My post is not a personal attack, just pointing out the truth for all to see. I presume the reasons for joining the CCC are not personal and they should be explained in detail be the new member? I didn't see a similar article in the charter. Or you take on yourself the role of the one who knows the...

Re: Science &Law should be impartial = neutral without b

I see some interesting posts from you in rgcc. Did you join here specifically to add to the voice of the cloners/hackers by promoting "Robber" and putting down Vas? Actually a search of your posts here answers that. Let's see: Computer-Chess Club Charter: Once a member gains access to the me...

Re: Science &Law should be impartial = neutral without b

It would be the right thing for the accusers to talk to Ryan. They seem reluctant to do so. Your perspective is wrong. Let me illustrate it with the hypothetical court example, so it'll be easier to understand. There are prosecutors (some people on this forum, I dare also to say clear majority), an...
