Re: Moderation

Yes ignorance is bliss. Aren't you the one that was trying to tell me that humans cannot understand what was going on when I was trying to show you that Rybka 3 and one of the Ippolit clones had the same bishop pair weakness? Man, if you are talking about blind bishop knowledge I can point you out ...

Re: Moderation

I don't know what I am talking about? Maybe you don't know what you are talking about. I don't give a rats ass what you consider what evaluation is, but for me evaluation is STATIC EVALUATION of a position. It has been a while since I tested Fruit or Rybka 1.0, but I can assure you that the evaluat...

Re: Moderation

There is no arrogance or intellectual dishonesty, just my opinion based on EVALUATIONS of Fruit and Rybka 1.0. I remember at the time looking at many different positions and being quite surprised at some of the evaluations of Rybka. Chesswise Rybka's evaluation is world's apart from Fruit. The Rybk...

Re: Derivative Proof

The 1st version of Rybka was before Fruit. It played in CCT tournaments although it did not do well. The first version of Rybka was a joke. For ppl that can use their brain and have a bit of morality just the fact that Rybka suddenly, after Fruit appeared, gained 600 elo would be sufficient. Howeve...

Re: Why always attacking the Champion? (Psychological questi

These anons are either kids, underaged as proxies, poor workless programmers or weak immigrants who are outcasts and therefore enjoy the freedom on the internet Open racism. What has Vas done against you so that you appear in public like a supporter of criminals? Accusing ppl that they are supports...

Re: Why always attacking the Champion? (Psychological questi

Don't see where that applies here. It is not so "fundamentally transformed that it becomes a new work" when you can find duplicate blocks of code... However, it perfectly applies to Ippo/Rybka issue. Ippo is exactly fundamentally transformed that it becomes a new work and Vas as the holder of the c...

Re: Random Musings ...

Let me give an example. I was about 12 years old. At school, my math teacher Mrs. H. made some statement (don't quite remember what it was, doesn't matter, at least it was relevant for the class) which I *knew* was logically wrong. I discussed with her and gave my view. She denied it and insisted o...

I was sure you wouldn't get it. You see chess is on other level than Tic Tac Toe. Just too many plies ahead for you.

Thanks once again for confirming the name of your engine...
I admire your originality :P.
