Re: Additional CEGT-Blitz-Update with 9271 more games

Reading the Rybka forum website is were Mr. Banks is begging Vas to say something in defense of Rybka, and CCRL, but Vas says nothing. Cutting off Mr. Banks at the KNEES. What a fool! Showing the partnership they have, or why else is Mr. Banks begging for support and a statement from Vas. IMO...

CCRL is NOT independent

Prima wrote: Agreed that CCRL is NOT independent. More so, the statement made by Felix Kling? stating, " I recommend looking at the professional rating lists like CCRL...." confirms what some (myself included) have been saying all along that CCRL is an exclusive supporter of Rybka. It shouldn't shoc...

Rybka 4 Bugfix...... Soon!!!

http://rybkaforum.net/cgi-bin/rybkaforum/forum_overview.pl?act=new;tid=20317 By Lukas Cimiotti Date 2011-01-28 14:05 Vas told me he'd do the fix in February - so the real testing will probably start in March. So I guess it will be ready in April. If we add some time as these predictions are always o...

Re: Ratinglists

SNIP You mentioned one point that I was unaware of. I know that several amateur engine authors use the CCRL to indicate the approximate strength of their engine. I did not know that at least one commercial engine website did the same. Call it naivety or stupidity on my part, but I honestly did not ...

Re: Ratinglists

I agree that Rybka should either be removed or houdini be included in the rating lists. There are two arguments against this. ***argument 1: Rybka is "more original" than say strelka or houdini. I respect Graham, and I think alot of unfair shots have been taken at him, and I would not be surprised ...

Re: Ratinglists

Actually, you would be surprised how little it takes to bribe some people. A few free Rybka engines, a personal email form the programing god himself. The next thing you know, you are in the fanboy club. Right Banks? Yawn. Now where have I read that before? Maybe in an thank-you Email from V...

Re: Ratinglists

Don't worry about CCRL/CEGT not testing the strongest engines.Soon these lists will be history. The only people interested in them will be the small group that actually does the testing. All I can say is what a waste of computer time and electricity these guys are wasting.Oh and did I mention that Ho...
