Hi Ruxy,

Nice to see you around.

Could you do a list of the best engine of each programming language?

Best regards,
Carlos

Re: Andscacs - New version 0.921 with source

It seems the new update is weaker than the 0.92 version, at least under TCEC conditions. Only 0.5 out of 5 games, keeping in mind that in the previous stage Andy remained unbeaten. Not so bad in the end, was it? Maybe I was too quick to affirm that. Andscacs 0.92 finished 4th in the previous stage ...

Re: Andscacs - New version 0.921 with source

Hi Daniel, It seems the new update is weaker than the 0.92 version, at least under TCEC conditions. Only 0.5 out of 5 games, keeping in mind that in the previous stage Andy remained unbeaten. Unfortunately the last defeat was by illegal move on this position: [d]6k1/R4Rp1/p2P3p/6nP/p5P1/6BK/4r3/8 w ...

I think Edsel Apostol is the co-author of Hannibal. He is also the author of Twisted Logic. So a Philippine team is possible. :)
Sergio Martinez wrote: Well, I cant problem in use Hannibal in Philippine team, after all Sam and you are the authors. This way would be philippine team sure :)

Re: Swiss Tournament by Teams

As for Belgium maybe we can make a team, because as Werner says, Belofte is a belgian engine, although there are others like Cavechess or Galjoen, so I think we will have a Belgian team in the tournament  I was not aware of all those you and Werner mentioned were belgian, but I did forget Fire.

Re: Swiss Tournament by Teams

Nice idea Sergio. I did this in the past and it is a lot of fun, although there are some doubts about engines' nationalities, like if Stockfish is italian or norwegian or Fritz should be representing USA or Czech Republic. What to do with Houdini, if there is no more belgian engines besides Sjeng. S...
