I notice that TJ is playing again, but what I don't see in the results section are the games that it played yesterday, or is this another cycle? :?

Hi H.G.,

What happened to TJChess? Did you remove it from the tournament?

Re: Battle of the Goths 10x8 Championship 2009

Gothic Chess is a very entertaining chess variant.

My favorites:

1. Joker
2. TJChess
3. Smirf/TSCP

Hi Graham,

Could you post the detailed results of the matches? I think it would be interesting to know the result between the engines.

Carlos

Probably, but after 34. R1c2 Rxc2 35. Rxc2 Kf6 looks like a dead draw. Anyway, your move Rb4 threatening Bxf4 looks more promising.

The idea behind my move (Be8) is to expulse the rook from c6 and after 34. R6c2 Rb4 (with the threat Bxf4)

Re: The Third Forum Game

I agree with Tano that this position is drawish, but we can try to play a little more before offering a draw.

Re: Test tournament: RobboLito 0.08e4

1) If same start positions are played with reversed colours, results may change significantly. Agreed. 2) This particular RobboLito is not optimized for fischer time controls and sometimes even loses on time. There is a RobboLito 0.085et4 circulating out there with better time management.
