Hi Dragon 4.6 the french monster destroyed me in the first game as I tired to build a solid defense but at the end I blundered heavily and lost the game ..... In the second game I steered the 1. b3 opening into a draw position hoping to outplay it in the end game abut yet again due to poor late mid...

Hi Amy 0.8.7b is a relatively solid chess engine which plays a sound chess game .... I remember that it was a tactical beast like CT800 1.40 but it turns out that it's not .... The two games against it were draw .... The first game was a cool line of the Old Indian Defense which transferred quickly ...

Unfortunately it does not load under the Fritz GUI ....

I assume that the file in the bin folder is the one execute ?

Wasabi 1.4.0 , an engine not announced anywhere else, 2400+ Elo apparently (look out, Dr. Deeb! ;)) https://github.com/mhonert/chess/releases/tag/v1.4.0 With computer-chess.org no longer being updated, we should be glad we still have this thread going. Thanks as I am not aware of this chess engine ...
