No one is crazy enough to buy that thing I guess.
What's the advantage over an ipad or a good galaxy tablet or a surface pro or a light thin laptop?
More or less I agree but the new bigger display is attractive....

Re: Komodo 9.3 well below 9.2 in CCRL/40

Looking at the CCRL results I think what's causing it on the 4CPU version is Bouquet 1.8. K93's performance there is -60 elo. On the 1CPU version you see -68 against Equinox and -65 against Sting and -84 against BlackMamba. But all these matches have about 10 games each, so I think with more games ...

Re: Fritz 15.0

Fritz 15 is obviously a new engine which Vas wrote from scratch after carefully studying Rybka 4.1 source code for 4 years. That would be foolish to write from scratch. Rybka has a very good SMP implementation. Vas is obviously a very talented programmer and it is good to see him move on and put Ry...

Re: Fritz 15 has a date...

Well £70 for an Rybka 4 still seems a lot of money for a very old engine now. I also wonder just how this new Fritz is going to be able to be judge against the other big three. No one runs any tests that have the Fritz engines entered as far as I'm aware I've tested Deep Fritz 14 8CPU for CEGT Blit...

In case i want to install the GUI on multiple computers, DVD-Box is the best option or direct download?
Probably would be the same. If you have a fast connection probably best to do direct download.
I always prefer the download version....
