Re: A dangerous combination

Hey Tony, Thanks for the test! It's looking like the next beta might break your 2500 barrier! If everything works out smoothly then you should have it in a couple of weeks, if not sooner. Mike And how much is the current version of Tony and the upcoming one is stronger than RomiChess OW2a that I am...

Re: CCRL update (31st March 2007)

An awesome efforts from the CCRL team as always :D
The most remarkable engine performance that caught my eyes was Naum's one,I mean look at the fourth place occupied by this amazing engine, leaving behind well known giants....

Re: Why do you talked about this stuff in public ?

This whole thread is just about internal testing of romi books. That's great of course, i'm a fan of romi, but why do you do this stuff in public ??? I'm not interested and i guess a lot of people as well. Maybe posting the final results is enought. All other stuff should be done between developer ...

Re: 4'+2" UPDATE: Loop 13.5 is here... matches underwa

Its only a 30 point improvement, but at that level it is still a very good improvement. It is very well possible that loop doesnt like your computer Ray. Not just my computer, other CCRL testers as well :) Just a matter of different testing conditions presumably. I'm particularly keen to see CEGT b...

Re: A dangerous combination

It could be of course, but even with a remarkable improvement,it won't show this performance using a stuiped opening book....believe me! True, I havent seen Romi coming off the opening book with a negetive score. Then again out of the 12 opponents Romi plays against, only Arasan got a really good bo...

With Grand07.pgn merged with the WD book as an extension, Romi performs 8% better! Though that results ...
