Re: Sting SF 17

A wonderful news!
"The" Chessbase ignores Sting 17!
I recommend to start Sting directly in "Windows Command Line" I will prepare the guide and it is very easy to start Sting there.

Sting SF 17

There are many important changes and corrections.
Sting is "one brain in one head" engine.
It works in the same way in: searching, playing and auto-playing.
Sting starts with 128M hash (I recommend 1024M).

Re: The "IQ" test

Hi Marek, ... Grasemann Herbert - 36 is wrong, it's Van Breukelen=G Schakend Nederland#2207 :) Thanks and sorry. It is my stupid bug (not one)! The full and last version (from 1 to 100) of the test is: [Result "1"] [FEN "rk6/p1r3p1/P3B1Kp/1p2B3/8/8/8/8 w - - 0 1"] 1. Bd7 {win} [Result "2"] [FEN "7k...

Re: The "IQ" test

For this reason I don't like to add any authors here. It is not a question who is the author of an item HERE. But some of you are able to see this question MAINLY. It is better to write NOTHING than a wrong data. Here are position dedicated machines MAINLY. They are far to want to know it. I have do...

Re: A position to troll your engine :-)

... All the 4 studies should be very easy for engines but, not by searching, and playing. Please try the great van Breukelen's study: 1r4Q1/7p/2N1B2k/7P/3Pp1P1/K1N1P2R/PP2PR2/8 b - - 0 1 to play as match eg. Stockfish vs Stockfish and, if the used engine is ok, you always (9/10) will see the result...
