Re: Congratulations to Komodo team for winning TCEC
Congratulations to Larry and Mark for their superb program and win, and congratulations to the Stockfish team for making the final so hard fought and interesting. Really? I thought SF played a horrible superfinal. It got trounced. It was unable to make the difference in the decisive games. K finish...

Re: test position
On my quad-core machine, SF5 finds Rg1 in barely a minute and sticks to it. This move is basically "game over" for Black since White gets a crushing advantage: [D]r2q3r/pbpp1kbP/1p2pn2/6B1/1nPP3Q/8/PP1NNP1P/1BKR4 w - - 0 15 Stockfish_14090421_x64_modern 26/42+ 01:02 98 233k 1 582k +1,43 15.Rg1 Nxa2+...

Re: Nakamura vs Stockfish, public match 8/23
Out of curiosity, how does the operator who will move the pieces for SF decide when to make the move? Is it left to their own choice (they make the move whenever they think it's appropriate) or does the engine send some sort of specific instruction (like "I'm done thinking, play this move now.")?

Re: A question about a program to analyze pgn
Is there is a program that I can use to analyze some pgn file in order to give me to think only about the positions when one side did a significant mistake? The idea is that I can define what is a significant mistake(for example at least 0.5 pawns) and how much time to give the engine that I choose...
