Re: Cerebellum, correspondence chess and me

...................................................... Btw I wrote in the readme that everyone can always send me feedback about wrong lines, but I never received something from correspondence chess players till now, so I don't think it is much used in that area. Hi Thomas, what news about the pgn ...

Re: Cerebellum, correspondence chess and me

Ha! I find refutations for Cerebellum lines on a regular basis. The thing is, these refutations may be so deep, that the new moves may not be playable in anything other than correspondence games, because soon enough the engine will be out of book and 10 minutes per move might not be enough to play ...

Re: Cerebellum, correspondence chess and me

It happens that I'm playing correspondence chess and, with the help of the very special Daniel's code, I'm still undefeated in master tournaments after almost 100 completed games. Some time ago, I sent a novelty to Stefan Pohl. It was a move uncovered by Cerebellum, much stronger than Cerebellum be...

Re: Incredible Stockfish Patch

Once Brainfish and the Cerebellum Library (not yet released) is available for purchase then we can make our own learning library. Thanks for your support. You are right, Cerebellum and the Sirius Gui will be published. The delay is due to a lack of time , but currently I'm working on the project. I...

Cerebellum analysis of the AlphaZero - Stockfish Games

I calculated the AlphaZero games and added them to Cerebellum, which took some time because Stockfish naturally needed very long calculation times and many added nodes to finally get the (most likely) correct results. http://www.zipproth.de/Brainfish/Cerebellum_AlphaZero.html I thought about a way t...

Re: $20,000 ICUC - a report on wins

Some notes about the current state of computer chess. About one and a half year ago, while adding new calculated lines to Cerebellum, I noticed for the first time, that something would change in computer chess. I realised that in contrast to what came before, there was no position problematic enoug...

Re: Sirius GUI plus Cerebellum release date?

Thomas, are BF sources from zipproth.de differ compared to provided executable? Because I see about 10% speed difference The provided BF Binaries where build from the provided BF Sources. I assume you mean the speed difference compared with the SF Binaries or perhaps when you make your own build. I...

Re: Sirius GUI plus Cerebellum release date?

1. How much hard drive space does Cerebellum and Sirius take up? How big is the current full version of the Cerebellum book? 2. Would it be possible to solve chess by continually improving a book through Cerebellum and Sirius? 3. How fast does Cerebellum and Sirius compile the book? For example let...

As you can read on the Brainfish download site, there was a bug in the Brainfish Version from 01.01.2017 caused by a Stockfish Patch which made a change in the code for the Book move selection necessary.

Re: Sirius GUI plus Cerebellum release date?

The release date will have to be delayed most likely till end of Februar 2017. I'm sorry for that delay, but there was a lack of time due to several projects and private reasons. I will announce this official when I have an exact date, for know I estimate End of Februar. I will correct the data on t...
