Re: Looking for Nero source code

Visiting a kanetti.fi page redirects to elisanet.fi. Using this knowledge, I managed to stumble across a live version of Nero's home page:

http://www.elisanet.fi/jari.huikari/shakki.htm

Unfortunately, there is no source code available.

Re: Looking for Nero source code

I have not been able to get the supplied compile to work for me. I tried several GUIs, and even wb2uci, and no luck. I noticed it was a 64 bit executable. Perhaps Dann was trying some modifications. I saw a link to an old thread on the Chess Programming Wiki's entry for Nero. http://www.talkchess.co...

Re: Looking for Nero source code

I have this archive I downloaded from Dann Corbit's old site: https://mega.nz/file/y1dQgDQB#U0iln1orLppCF6H00vfhwhCbHIFlL-pzj21Qtd9TO7o It's a Lazarus compile of Nero 6.0, including source. I don't know if Dann modified it in any way to get it to compile with Lazarus. Sorry, I don't have the source ...

TThe elo is guessed less than 2500 so it is hardly steroids.
To be fair, the original Vice is around 2050 Elo, so even a 2400 rating for Vice NNUE would be a massive improvement.

Re: Sam retouched for CuteChess

Hello! I retouched Sam to make it compatible with CuteChess. As you maybe know, CuteChess considers illegal a promotion move without the piece symbol. Some time ago, I had suggested to CuteChess developers to be less strict on that point, but they refused, which is their right. So when I have time ...

Re: New engine releases 2020

Dorky website is gone! It was saved in wayback though (changed the links in my chronology). Links for Dorky versions above 4.3 have not changed. They were not on Matts site. There are people who are always open for new ways and interesting things.

We dont need another 1000 stockfish clones.
If you're so unhappy with what other people are doing, then do it yourself. You wrote a chess program before. What's stopping you from doing another program in your own way?

Re: NVIDIA cudnn ver 8.x download

You can get them here https://developer.nvidia.com/rdp/cudnn-download or older versions here https://developer.nvidia.com/rdp/cudnn-archive You have to register for a membership in the NVIDIA Developer Program. Then take a very short survey. Right, but I do not like facebook and other brain washer ...
