Re: New engine releases 2019

Queen 4.04c from 2018 with improved GUI http://home.planet.nl/~ammeraal/chess.html Thanks, this GUI only update helped me to fix an error in my chronology ;-) Actually the last engine update was version 4.02 and not 4.03, what my chronology falsely claimed. This is fixed now. It's not a GUI only up...

Re: Toga The Killer 1.0 from 2009 by Denis P. Mendoza etc

I have quite a few different versions of Toga The Killer, some with source, some without. I think all of them were compiled by Denis P. Mendoza (DPM). Only one of them identifies itself as Toga The Killer 1.0, but it's not a 4 thread version, although you can set the number of threads from 1 to 16. ...

April 22 executables for Scorpio 2.9.0:

There have been several "silent updates" to the 2.9.0 executables on the Scorpio release page that are not in the list of updates.

Re: CCWiki broken links - several lists

My downloads at http://tonyschess.x10host.com/ are back online. I am required to log in to x10 Hosting's control panel at least once a month, or else my account gets suspended.

Re: fseek problem files >2Gb (32-bit compile)

Just be aware that _fseeki64 and _ftelli64 are Windows specific. I used the the more portable POSIX functions fseeko64 and ftello64 with GCC under windows successfully, although I am not sure they will work with Microsoft's compiler.

Re: Sapeli 1.0 - New chess engine

It compiles cleanly under Cygwin. I have uploaded 32 and 64 bit compiles here: http://tonyschess.x10host.com/Sapeli1.0.rar Thanks, Tony. 64-bit O3 (which is about twice as fast as O2) seems to run OK here. The O2 and O3 are different levels of optimization. The O3 compiles should be faster, but I c...

Re: New engine releases 2019

Has Neurone 11052018 Dev (aka Neurone XXVII dev) been mentioned anywhere outside of the GSEI web site? I see only XXVI in the CCRL rating list and on the RWBC chronology page. It's not that new (exe dated March 15 2019), but it is new to me.
