Re: DEEP SHREDDER 13-released in the next couple of months

Apart from Shredder 13, I'm looking forward to 6-men Shredderbases. I strongly belive that using them would increase Shredder 13 stregth significantly. The question is whether SMK is going to share the Shredderbases probing code, so that everyone could implement it.

Re: Moron 1.0.1z can't solve this!

Actually, 2-men tablebases have not yet been created. BTW I heard that 1-men and 2-men Moronbases are going to be released in the near future!

This must be Ivanchuk worse blunder ever
Take a look at the game Nisipeanu - Ivanchuk. I don't remember the year. Think it was 1998 or 1999. That was the worst blunder of Ivanchuk :)

Re: Request of solution for this pawns endgame.

Hello Karol: Here's another simple fortress position: [d]8/8/3kp1pp/p2p1p2/Pp1P1P1P/1K4P1/8/8 w - - 0 52 Of course it's a draw. Easy for computers? Don't think so. Even Chiron doesn't see the draw. I have tried Houdini 1.5a w32 (2 cores), Komodo 3 w32 (1 core), Critter 1.4 w32 (2 cores), Deep Rybka...

has anyone the same problems?
Seems no chessbase GUI can handle critter 1.4 yet.
In shredder gui I have no problems.

Re: The Real Test for Komodo 4

No sac found New game [d]r5k1/1qrnb1p1/3p2Pp/3Pp3/pp2N1R1/3QBP2/PPP5/1K1R4 w - - 0 1 It took him 100 minutes to find Bxh6. I'm not surprised at all as it is well known that Komodo is quite weak in tactics comparing it to other top level engines. New game r5k1/1qrnb1p1/3p2Pp/3Pp3/pp2N1R1/3QBP2/PPP5/...
