Interesting Move in the French

I was reading on the Rybka Forum, where I saw this interesting move (10.Nxd5) played by Rybka in a sideline of the French opening. Re: compilations by Bryan Hofmann

Anyone know where I can find Toga II compilations by Bryan Hofmann including a 64 Bit compilation. Does Bryan have a new domain? Thanks In every test that I've seen, 64 bit compiles of Toga II have performed worse that the 32 bit ones. Bryan did make some just to keep people from bugging him. I won...

Windows 64 bit OS /Chess GUIs

Help, I just purchased a new 64bit Core 2 Duo Laptop. It came with a 32bit version of Vista Home. I plan to make it dual bootable with a 64 bit version of Linux and a 64 bit version of Windows. My question is which 64 bit version of Windows do you think I should choose? Also is Zap!Chess still the o...

Re: Best Linux Chess Setup

Hi Shivkumar and Michael,

It's been a long time since I looked at Scid, I will give it another go and see how much things have changed. As for online play I have preferred Jin here myself. I like the Shredder Chess Interface, but wish it had more features as it's Windows counter part has.

Re: Chessmaster Live released on XBox Live Arcade

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/c/chessmasterxboxlivearcade/ I'm glad to see this, especially considering how successful XBLA has been for the 360 platform. It will get a lot of young people people into chess (or back into chess) simply because of the game's mere presence on the XBLA service. As fa...
