Re: FIDE Election 11 Aug 2014

Too sad to talk about really. I am afraid that it is out of topic so it is going to be deleted. I remember that I already replied to a similiar topic some days ago but I cannot find the thread so I guess that the moderators deleted the thread. The right place is probably the chess thinkers forum. S...

Re: [OT] CTF elections

I judge it perfectly on topic of the forum. It is going to drop to the second page if we restricted the posts to the teams. Re: [OT] CTF elections

WHAT? Where is this coming from? First, I cannot delete a post like that in election week, whether I like it or not. That is Freedom of Speech from a candidate team. On the other hand, I thought it was not wise to have many replies to it and flood CCC with it. But it would have meant it'd sunk to t...

Re: [OT] CTF elections

Fully agreed :) The number of pissed off people in this thread is hilarious. Don't know why they won't open their own campaigning thread instead of polluting mine ... It might have something to do with the CCC moderators taking sides and making your off-topic, hostile campaign thread a sticky here ...

Funny how so many spiteful comments about CTF come from people who normally never read it, certainly never contribute to it, and rarely bother to notice it - until they have a crony or an enemy running for election.

There are plenty that were removed to the moderation archive. Where is your list of the "dozens" you think violate the charter but are still on the board?

Re: [OT] CTF elections

we will do our best to clean up the place according to the charter. Clean up what exactly - one post you didn't like? We didn't like it either but there is no rule 6 in the charter giving moderators power to remove anything they happen to find personally disagreeable. A challenge for you or anyone ...

** CCC Moderator Election--Member Voting **

This is the official poll to cast your ballot for CCC moderation team. Eligible voters must have been registered for at least six months and have a minimum level of posting activity.
