Re: What was the last good Rodent?

http://www.pkoziol.cal24.pl/rodent/history.htm contains a sampling of older Rodent versions. If Pawel can add v0.238 to it, that would be awesome. :)

Re: What was the last good Rodent?

After doing some digging, I have concluded that the version linked by Pawel is probably Rodent III 0.172.
I don't seem to have v0.238, strangely enough. Can anyone please post a link to Rodent 0.238?
Thanks! :)

Re: What was the last good Rodent?

I am aware that something went wrong with Rodent's style, probably because of automated tuning, and working to fix it. Noticed the problem watching CCRL game, a few elo weren't worth the mess it has been creating. However the good news is that if you set a personality, it uses mostly old default va...

Re: RSIF as alternative to armageddon

New and interesting, but rather significant/radical rule changes, imo. This indeed need some changes to the engine, but for humans, they already know the rules. Perhaps a little bit of adjustment and practice. Knowing the rules shouldn't be that hard, but altering and skewing all endgame theory?

They are separate rating lists, meaning you can't compare those two ratings.

Unless you were joking, of course. :|

Re: One more issue with king safety/attack for Stockfish

Nezh finds Qg6 quickly and sticks with it.

Code: Select all

20...Qg6
  Black is clearly winning: -+ (-6.01 ++)  Depth: 28/41   00:00:05  41592kN
With White on move 20, it soon recognizes Black is better and wants to play Rh1, with a disadvantage, instead of the clearly losing Nxe4.

It's enough to be
1). Allowable in public opinion
2). Allowable in the press
3). Allowable to make investigations.
4). Can be used in court corruptly even if not officially allowed.allowed.
Yes, that's where we could be all headed.
