Re: 1.g4 opening is losing?

every single seconds we are obsessed with the determinism of the evaluation of our days...is it so difficult to understand that a 200 elo more efficient partner will beat the devil out of you when u trust on an entity that is currently unbeatable ?...what is it about to be much better than you... do...

Re: mmt Vs. Ovyron (G4 D5 BG2)

ADHD :-)...just joking, forgive me :-)...im seriously curious though what mmt will hatch here, i could imagine that LC still has a good feeling about best moves here but this assumption comes out of the sky because i cant use LC due to nonexistent GPU, interesting game, thx to both players !

Re: Very unusual endgame occurrence

i dont believe that white can hold the 2nd position together whatever he tries !? just 2 lines that might illustrate this: one with the f2-pawn pushed to f3: 108. ... Nh5 109. Kf1 Nhf4 110. Bd1 Kf6 111. Bd2 Kf5 112. f3 Ke5 113. Ba4 Kd4 114. Kf2 g5 115. Be8 f6 116. Bf7 f5 117. Ba5 e5 118. Bd8 Nc3 119...

Re: Hard-Talkchess-2020 set, final release

to what i was able to point out Kasparov's Nc3 is clearly superior to h5 but im not really sure if h5 doesnt win as well...in my analysis(in the h5 line instead os Nc3) whites queen wants to go to e4/d5 but then black probably wants to trade via Qe6 or Qf7 (if queen is on d5) and i couldnt find sth ...

Re: mmt Vs. Ovyron (G4 D5 BG2)

Re: mmt Vs. Ovyron (G4 D5 BG2)

great news :-) at some point, say somewhere roughly between move 15 and 30, id prefere to rely more on SF rather than LC honestly...since this would require a very fast CPU though maybe even a cooperation might make sense at this point (if mmt doesnt use a fast one already) whatever your decisions w...

Re: 1.g4 opening is losing?

in my around 3 hours research Bluefish had the same output until 3...e5 as its best line...not sure anymore whether 4.d3 was considered as best but i dont think so, if i remember well it was 4.Bg2 but i really dont know anymore...the difference in terms of evaluation to 2.g5 was really tiny though.....

Re: Dylan Sharp Vs. Harvey Williamson (G4)

thank you Ovyron and Harvey for this game, well played by both of you imho,36...Rxd4 is a nice bm-testposition as well afaict. though im still not confinced that there is any 1st move by white that is loosing by force but what do i know. 2.h3 and 2.e3 looking more natural from my pov but my engines ...
